It seems Paulina Porizkova might be in need of a date. She is unhappy with the attention she gets when she goes to parties. She says she feels invisible. A good portion of those who clicked are of the type who probably would find an over fifty year old woman to be invisible, I guess. Hopefully, I can hang on to you now, because there are so many things women over fifty are doing I find it hard to ignore them. They are actually inspirational, not for their gender but for their energy late in life.

Paulina asserts this invisibility is a terrible problem for women, because they disappear after they turn fifty years old. This is an unsupportable assertion in this day and age, but there it was on Twitter. Now some women took her to task, I admit. However, other women were much more sympathetic.

I am truly dismayed by this assertion that men have created a world where women are invisible after fifty. I guess if the only attention one wants or desires is for one’s looks, then perhaps this is true…
