Just a dog :-( I know the sting of those words, but they are not JUST dogs, they are life long companions, soul mates even.

My last journey here I had the vet come to my house. She went to sleep right by the fireplace. Easier on the dog, I think, but perhaps a little harder on us. Not sure. My “doggie girl” taught me a lot during the end game. I realized that dogs might actually be bodhisattvas.
