I will never know what would have happened. My youngest son was precocious and cute. He got tagged for a commercial, which I reluctantly agreed to,but I was ambivalent. The younger sibling of a player I coached in soccer was trying out for movie roles. The parents, who were devout Christians, did not seem to have a problem with their child being in a graphic horror movie. I was mystified and spoke at length about the dangers of such hypocrisy. My wife revealed that when my three year old son was done with commercial shoot, he went to director and said,”where is my money?” it was this exchange that I harped on to keep my son from ever being taken to an audition again until he was old enough to know what it meant. He turns 18 today and he is far from perfect, but I never look back at what might have been, because the world is full of Tatum stories
