I think we should remember that for way over 90% of our history there was simply no time for sports. The reboot of the Olympics is barely over 100 years old and it had been on hiatus for two millennia. Sports is a luxury most of our ancestors NEVER had time for and we should recall that the natural state of affairs is NO SPORTS. These are halcyon times that we are trashing as the oligarchs claim the shrinking economic pie needs their guardianship and the homeless deserve their fates
