I know a day trader type frequenting such places. We had a very good conversation about what young people with free cash did with it in the last century versus this century. I pointed out that his energy seems be part of the greater service sector GDP but it didn’t really do anything. For example, it’s fake work to speculate on a company because a filing indicates someone might be about to purchase the “corpse" of a company to get the stock symbol. This is “churn” in our economy but not actual production. He actually agreed. It was a good discussion. He just went to doing it again and bragging about gains…being kinda silent about losses. I am hopeful my conversation sticks around in his head and he puts his energy into some kind of business something. He is smart and energetic. It’s being wasted in the casino
