I am not sure I understand. I deal with this numeric encoding every day. And the words that describe a value do not change…it is how it is WRITTEN, not spoken. Fifteen is Fifteen is Fifteen whether it is written like this “15” or this “F” or this “1111”. They are ALL 15. The trick is to understand what BASE are we using 2, 10 or 16 etc.
