The firing of the inspector general overseeing the stimulus bill which was recently passed by Congress would be a surprise in any other era. However, the kleptocracy is ascendant in this era. The kleptocrats are more brazen than ever. My own senator clearly engaged in insider trading, but apparently no action will be taken. These people cannot be trusted to serve the people.
