The recent death of Irv Cross put seventies NFL back in my mind. As one of the pioneers of The NFL Today, he was an icon to a boy watching football in that decade. I looked over Irv’s biography as I often do when I hear of the passing of someone who touched my life. As I read it, I was reminded he played for the Eagles AND the Rams.
